Historic murals embrace the walls of our City-County Community Center, 200 N. Ash as well as the City Council Chambers, 120 S. Ash, depicting local history. Check out the South wall of Heroes Restaurant building on the Square for The Lone Osage and The Depot, Drink Coca Cola, and The Hotel Mitchell along Cherry Street.

Founded in 1868, this is the resting place of most of Nevada’s pioneers; Sen.Wm Joel Stone, Sen. S.A. Wight, and Virginia Alice Cottey Stockard. There’s also a special plot for Civil War veterans.
